Technical Lead | C++ & Rust

About the Role

As a Technical Lead at Oho Group, you will take ownership of core software development using C++ or Rust, driving technical direction and architectural decisions. This role involves tackling complex engineering challenges and mentoring other engineers as the team grows.

What You'll Do

• Leading the design and development of core software systems using C++ or Rust.
• Driving architectural decisions and setting high engineering standards across the codebase.
• Tackling complex technical challenges around performance, reliability and scalability.
• Working closely with the wider engineering team to turn ambitious ideas into robust, production-ready software.
• Taking ownership of key technical projects from initial design through to deployment.
• Helping shape engineering practices and mentoring other engineers as the team grows.

Who You Are

• Strong software engineering experience with modern C++ or Rust.
• A solid understanding of software architecture, systems design and writing reliable, high-performance code.
• Experience building and shipping complex software in a production environment.
• Someone comfortable taking ownership of technical decisions and leading projects from the front.
• Strong problem-solving skills and an interest in tackling difficult engineering challenges.
• An entrepreneurial mindset, with the ability to thrive in a fast-moving, high-growth environment.
