About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff+ Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will influence the technical direction and architecture of our software platform. You will lead the design and development of complex, scalable software systems, collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers. Your leadership will be instrumental in mentoring junior engineers, fostering best practices, and driving technological innovation within the team.

You will be responsible for implementing new technologies, frameworks, and architectural patterns that enhance the robustness, extensibility, and maintainability of our products. Your contributions will directly impact the delivery of high-quality software solutions that empower our customers with actionable insights from their industrial data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Substantial professional experience in software development, with a proven track record of designing and evolving complex software systems
• Expertise in programming languages such as Java, Kotlin, Rust, C++, or similar
• Strong understanding of software design principles, patterns, and best practices
• Experience in backend development for data-intensive applications
• Proficiency with databases such as Postgres or MySQL
• Experience with distributed computing and cloud platforms
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail
• Proven leadership and mentorship capabilities for guiding junior engineers
• Strong communication and collaboration skills within cross-functional teams
• Familiarity with agile methodologies like Scrum or Kanban

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, design, and development of complex software systems aligned with product goals
• Mentor and coach junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
• Drive innovation by evaluating and integrating emerging technologies and frameworks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, design, and QA to deliver high-quality solutions
• Ensure code quality through rigorous code reviews, unit testing, and adherence to best practices
• Address technical debt proactively and refactor code to improve system maintainability
• Participate in planning, estimation, and agile ceremonies to ensure timely delivery of features
• Engage with customers to understand their needs and articulate technical solutions effectively
