About the Role
Overview
Some engineering roles are about delivering the next feature. Others give you the opportunity to shape foundational technology, solve difficult systems problems, and influence how large-scale cloud infrastructure evolves. This opportunity is very much in the latter category.
We are looking for someone with deep technical instincts, systems thinking, and the ability to lead through engineering influence. Someone who is equally comfortable diving into a difficult technical problem, driving architectural clarity, facing assumptions, and bringing teams together around the right long-term solution. The ideal candidate is curious, pragmatic, collaborative, and passionate about engineering excellence.
Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. As employees we come together with a growth mindset, innovate to empower others and collaborate to realize our shared goals. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.
