Fullstack Entwickler (Rust, Typescript, NodeJs) (m/w/d)

About the Role

As a Fullstack/Backend Engineer, you will take ownership of the design, development, and enhancement of our central backend and IoT components. Your work will directly impact the reliability, scalability, and performance of thousands of charging points.

What You'll Do

Start: Asap

Duration: 12 months with the desire for permanent employment

Workload: 5 days a week

Location: Leipzig, 2 days remote/week

Contract Type: ANÜ

Who You Are

Must-haves:

• Several years of experience in backend development with Rust and/or TypeScript, willingness to learn the other language if not already known.
• Solid knowledge in developing REST APIs and microservice architectures.
• Experience with relational databases, especially PostgreSQL, and modeling complex data structures.
• Understanding of IoT communication patterns, device states, and connectivity protocols.
• Experience with agile development processes and ticket tracking systems (Jira).

Nice-to-haves:

• Knowledge of additional backend languages (preferably Python).
• Experience with document-oriented databases, especially MongoDB, including data modeling and performance optimization.
• Experience with OCPP (Open Charge Point Protocol) or other charging infrastructure standards.
• Experience with load testing, mock development, and automated integration tests.
• Background in e-mobility, navigation, or electricity market.
