The Rust Developer role at Sira Consulting involves designing, implementing, and supporting highly scalable applications and web services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in distributed systems and concurrent programming, with a focus on Rust programming.

What You'll Do

Design and implement scalable applications and web services.
Work with distributed systems and object storage.
Utilize Rust features such as async/await and concurrency models.
Support and maintain existing applications.

Who You Are

You have experience with distributed system concepts like consensus and replication.
You are knowledgeable in concurrent programming techniques.

Bonus Points

Experience with blob storage solutions.
Familiarity with distributed key-value databases.
Experience with Kubernetes and containers.
Knowledge of Linux system internals.
Experience with storage systems and back-end web technologies.

Requirements

Rust programming

Experience working with Rust, including async/await and concurrency models.

Distributed systems

Strong understanding of distributed system concepts such as consensus and replication.

Concurrent programming

Experience with techniques like locking, memory synchronization, and atomic operations.
