About the Role
The Role
You'll be developing and optimising the core Rust backend architecture powering real-time communication, mission planning and the coordination of autonomous robotic fleets.
Responsibilities:
- Build high-performance backend systems in Rust.
- Develop low-latency communication protocols for distributed robotic systems.
- Solve challenges involving concurrency, multithreading and real-time processing.
- Optimise system performance, scalability and reliability.
- Collaborate with robotics and hardware teams on system architecture and integration.
What We're Looking For
Experienced backend engineer with a minimum of 2 years of developing production software in Rust. Experience designing distributed backend systems. Strong understanding of networking, concurrency and multithreading. Experience optimising performance in latency-sensitive or real-time environments. Previous robotics or defence experience isn't needed.
