About the Role

As a software developer focused on Rust, you will work in a cross-functional team to develop modern IT solutions for the defense sector. Your role involves application development, testing, and deployment in an agile environment, ensuring that business needs are met through effective technical solutions.

What You'll Do

You will be involved in development, testing, and deployment within an agile team with continuous deliveries. Together with colleagues and other teams, you will translate business needs into functional solutions and ensure that requirements and technical interfaces are managed throughout the development process.

• Develop applications and technical solutions with a focus on Rust
• Collaborate with other teams regarding business needs, requirements, and integrations
• Evaluate and document technical products and solutions
• Implement, package, and deploy solutions
• Develop automated tests and contribute to establishing quality assurance processes
• Share knowledge and contribute to the team's collective skill development
• Contribute to cost tracking and optimization of cloud resources, FinOps

Who You Are

We are looking for someone with approximately four to eight years of experience in system development and practical experience in Rust development. You have a solid foundation in application development and a basic understanding of infrastructure and platform technology.

You are curious about new technologies and thrive in a smaller team where collaboration and knowledge sharing are a natural part of everyday life. You take responsibility for your tasks, are engaged, and want to continue developing alongside your colleagues.

Requirements

• Approximately four to eight years of relevant experience in system development
• Practical experience in Rust development
• Good understanding of application development, from development and testing to deployment
• Basic knowledge of infrastructure and platform technology
• Good communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Bonus Points

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Containerization and Kubernetes, as well as development of applications running in these environments
• WebAssembly and WebAssembly Component Model
• Foreign Function Interfaces, FFI, as well as Linux and C-ABI
• Security protocols and cryptographic functions such as TLS, SSH, and digital signing
• Experience with Go, Java, C#, or C++
• Container tools and configuration in YAML
• Open source, FOSS
• Development in environments with high regulatory requirements, such as finance or medicine

Compensation

The position requires you to undergo and be approved in a security clearance according to applicable regulations. Depending on the security classification of the position, certain citizenship requirements may apply.
