Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Blockchain Developer role located in Thane, focused on Rust and Solana. The Blockchain Developer will design, develop, and maintain Solana smart contracts and on-chain programs in Rust to support The Gari Network and related platform features. Daily responsibilities include implementing secure and efficient blockchain logic, integrating back-end services with Solana, optimizing transaction flows, and ensuring high performance and reliability of blockchain-based components. The role involves collaborating with product managers, other developers, and QA to translate business requirements into technical solutions, reviewing code, and participating in architecture discussions. The developer will also monitor and troubleshoot production issues, keep up to date with Solana ecosystem advancements, and contribute to improving development tooling and best practices.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong skills in Blockchain and Cryptocurrency, with hands-on experience building production-grade decentralized applications or protocols.

• Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Cryptography and secure coding practices, including key management, signatures, and data integrity mechanisms.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in Back-End Web Development and Software Development, including APIs, microservices, and integration with blockchain networks.
• Candidates should possess practical experience with Rust programming and Solana development tools (e.g., Anchor, Solana CLI, SDKs).
• Relevant skills such as performance optimization, debugging distributed systems, and familiarity with Web3 standards and wallets are beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to work on-site in Thane, collaborate in cross-functional teams, and communicate clearly in a fast-paced environment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 1–2 years of professional software development experience, with hands-on Rust work in a job, internship or substantial personal/open-source projects.
• Good understanding of Rust fundamentals: ownership, lifetimes, traits, error handling and memory safety.
• Working knowledge of async Rust (Tokio) and at least one web framework such as Actix Web, Axum, Warp or Rocket.
