C++/Rust Developer

About the Role

Join NATEK as a C++/Rust Developer and support the development of the next generation Edge Platform. You will work on Linux-based onboard computing solutions, developing and enhancing software components mainly in C++ and Rust.

What You'll Do

• Develop new functionalities using Rust and C++
• Design and implement microservices for an Edge platform
• Make architectural and technical decisions within your area of ownership
• Take full ownership of a microservice throughout its lifecycle
• Write technical and architectural documentation
• Develop comprehensive automated and detailed tests
• Collaborate with international teams across Europe and Asia
• Contribute to technical discussions and continuous improvement of the platform
• Ensure high-quality, maintainable, and production-ready code

Who You Are

• 6+ years of experience in software development
• Strong commercial experience with Rust
• Practical experience with C++ (C++11/14+)
• Good knowledge of Linux
• Experience with microservice architecture
• Strong understanding of software development and testing practices
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of technical areas
• Good English communication skills
