About the Role

As a Senior Backend Engineer at GamblingCareers.com, you will build and scale backend services for a leading online casino platform using Go and Rust. You will have ownership of production systems and contribute to the architecture and infrastructure that supports thousands of games and billions of bets.

What You'll Do

• Build and scale backend services using Go and Rust.
• Own production systems from design through to deployment.
• Build and optimise scalable cloud infrastructure with Kubernetes and Terraform.
• Contribute to data platforms powered by ClickHouse.
• Help evolve our architecture as we continue to scale globally.
• Work across backend, infrastructure and data engineering.

Who You Are

You'll Thrive Here If You have proven experience designing and building scalable backend systems, distributed architectures, and microservices. You enjoy owning systems end-to-end and are comfortable balancing feature delivery with operational excellence. You have exposure to cloud infrastructure or DevOps and love solving complex technical problems at scale.
