About The Role

As an integral member of the team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable AI platforms that enable advanced machine learning and data analytics capabilities. Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background and extensive experience in software and platform engineering. A bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required. You should have at least 10 years of professional experience in designing and implementing scalable, reliable software systems, with a focus on cloud infrastructure and AI platforms.
Proficiency in developing APIs and microservices, along with deep expertise in Kubernetes, Helm charts, Kustomize, and CRDs, is essential. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, and containerization technologies like Docker and containerd, is mandatory. Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or ArgoCD, and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation, is also required.
Strong knowledge of networking, security policies, and API gateways within cloud environments is necessary. Programming skills in languages such as Rust, C++, and Python, especially with data science tools like PyTorch, Jax, and Numpy, will be highly advantageous. Additionally, experience working in Agile teams, excellent collaboration skills, and a problem-solving mindset are crucial for success in this role.
Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain a next-generation scalable AI platform that supports BlackRock’s investment management and analytics ecosystem. Build and manage Kubernetes clusters for deploying AI models efficiently and securely across cloud environments. Develop platform abstractions to facilitate cloud-native infrastructure management on AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Create and maintain automated pipelines for continuous training, testing, and deployment of machine learning models, ensuring compliance with enterprise security standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine business and technical requirements, translating them into actionable tasks.
Requirements
Rust programming
