What You Will Do

• Develop and evolve the platform backend using async Rust and Actix-web.
• Work with Franca IDL and Franca++, contributing to solutions related to the definition, processing, and visualization of APIs and automotive communication interfaces.
• Build and maintain APIs, backend services, and command-line tools (CLI) for data generation, transformation, and indexing.
• Structure and manage Rust projects using Cargo Workspaces.
• Work with the processing and indexing of structured data, especially JSON.
• Build and run applications in Linux and Docker environments.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, automating testing, builds, and deployments.
• Contribute to solutions for the visualization and processing of data related to automotive communication.
• Investigate and troubleshoot issues related to applications, builds, pipelines, and runtime environments.
• Participate in technical decisions, code reviews, and continuous improvements to architecture, performance, and solution quality.

What We Are Looking For

• Hands-on experience with Franca IDL.
• Solid experience in backend development with Rust, at a senior level.
• Experience with asynchronous programming in Rust.
• Hands-on experience with Actix-web for developing REST APIs and backend services.
• Experience developing command-line tools (CLI).
• Knowledge of Cargo and Cargo Workspaces.
• Experience processing, transforming, and indexing structured data, especially JSON.
• Experience developing and running applications in Linux environments.
• Knowledge of Docker, including image creation and application builds.
• Experience with Git, GitHub, and GitHub Actions for continuous integration, testing, and build automation.
• Advanced English, for conversation and interaction with an international client.

Nice To Have

• Experience with compilers, interpreters, transpilers, DSLs, code generation, or ASTs.
• Experience with parsing and code analysis technologies such as ANTLR, JavaCC, tree-sitter, or Langium.
• Knowledge or hands-on experience with the Language Server Protocol (LSP).
• Experience with Xtext, EMF, Ecore, Eclipse RCP, Sirius, Acceleo, or MDE.
• Personal GitHub projects related to programming languages or developer tooling.
• Experience with AWS, especially ECS Fargate, ECR, Lambda, and services related to running containerized applications.
• Knowledge of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Experience with automated data processing and generation pipelines.
• Knowledge of performance optimization for processing and indexing large volumes of data.
