Our current roles are hybrid, requiring 2-3 days per week in the office (Bucharest).
Then what?
Senior Rust Developer, with the following tasks:
- Design, build, and maintain high-performance, reliable, and secure backend systems and applications using Rust.
- Architect scalable solutions in a microservices environment.
- Active participation in daily meetings and agile ceremonies.
- Get involved in full lifecycle development phases that include solution design, development, unit testing, integration, and acceptance testing support.
- Mentor team members, helping to maintain high code quality, organization, and automation best practices.
- Leverage async programming and ensure memory safety utilizing Rust’s ownership model.
- Use and optimize the CI/CD pipeline of the services in order to perform builds, tests, and deployments.
- Integrate newly developed tools and cloud-native features.
Required technical skills:
- Min. 5 years of software engineering experience, with at least 4-5 years of proven, hands-on experience in Rust.
- Deep understanding of Rust's memory safety, concurrency, and async ecosystem (e.g., Tokio).
- Experience with Rust web frameworks (such as Actix, Axum, or Rocket).
- Proficiency in REST APIs or gRPC, as well as relational and non-relational database systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, Redis).
- Experience with public cloud environments (GCP/AWS/Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- CI/CD pipelines.

Requirements
Rust experience
At least 4-5 years of hands-on experience in Rust is required.
Software engineering
Minimum of 5 years of software engineering experience is necessary.
Memory safety knowledge
A deep understanding of Rust's memory safety and concurrency is essential.
Web frameworks
Experience with Rust web frameworks like Actix, Axum, or Rocket is needed.
Nice to Have
Familiarity with public cloud environments such as GCP, AWS, or Azure is a plus.
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is beneficial.
