About the Role
The Rust Configuration Engineer will design, develop, and maintain high-performance configuration and system management tools. This role requires strong expertise in Rust programming and experience with embedded systems and hardware-software integration.
What You'll Do
- Design and develop configuration and system management tools.
- Work on embedded systems and device configuration workflows.
- Integrate hardware and software components effectively.
Who You Are
- 4–7 years of experience in software development with exposure to embedded or hardware-integrated systems.
- Strong proficiency in Rust programming language.
- Familiarity with GUI frameworks or CLI tool development.
- Experience developing configuration, monitoring, or system utility tools.
- Knowledge of device communication protocols like USB, PCIe and hardware interaction.
- Familiarity with multithreading, concurrency, and performance optimization.
- Experience with Linux and/or Windows application development.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.
- Understanding of secure coding practices and software reliability.
Requirements
Rust programming
Strong proficiency in Rust programming language is essential.
Embedded systems experience
4–7 years of experience in software development with exposure to embedded or hardware-integrated systems.
Configuration tools development
Experience developing configuration, monitoring, or system utility tools.
Device communication protocols
Knowledge of device communication protocols like USB and PCIe.
