About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our dynamic team at P2P. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and optimizing key components of our Stellar Core, a core part of our blockchain infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in modern C++ or Rust and possess a deep understanding of performance optimization techniques. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex systems that require high reliability, scalability, and efficiency. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and refine features that support our mission of creating accessible financial solutions globally.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have over 4 years of professional development experience, with a proven track record in building high-performance software systems. Expertise in modern C++ and/or Rust is essential, along with a solid understanding of blockchain technology and distributed systems. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment are critical. A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Prior experience with performance profiling, optimization, and debugging complex codebases is highly desirable. Passion for blockchain innovation and a commitment to creating equitable financial access are important qualities for this role.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain core components of the Stellar Core to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new features, enhance existing functionalities, and troubleshoot issues.
• Optimize system performance through profiling and fine-tuning of code, ensuring scalability and robustness.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to uphold high-quality standards.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in blockchain technology, C++, Rust, and software development best practices.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and infrastructure.
• Assist in the integration of Stellar Core with other blockchain modules and external systems.
• Support the deployment and maintenance of blockchain nodes, ensuring high availability and security.

Benefits

P2P offers a competitive salary range of $180,000 to $290,000, commensurate with experience and expertise.
