About the Role

The C++ Engineer (Trading) will join a high-performance engineering team to build low-latency trading systems and infrastructure for digital asset markets. The role involves designing and developing systems in C++ and Rust, optimizing for performance, and collaborating with quantitative researchers and traders.

Responsibilities

Design and develop high-performance, low-latency systems in C++/ Rust.
Build market data ingestion, exchange connectivity, order execution, and trading infrastructure.
Optimise systems for latency, throughput, reliability, and scalability.
Work closely with quantitative researchers and traders to translate strategies into production systems.
Profile and optimise critical code paths, including memory allocation, concurrency, networking, and CPU utilisation.
Develop tools and frameworks for simulation, backtesting, monitoring, and performance analysis.
Contribute to system architecture and technical decisions across the trading stack.

Requirements

Strong professional experience with C++/ Rust.
Substantial experience in a tradfi / HFT firm.
Strong understanding of systems programming, concurrency, networking, and performance optimisation.
Experience building low-latency or high-throughput systems.
Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, memory management, and computer architecture.
Strong experience working with Linux.

Requirements

C++/Rust experience

Strong professional experience with C++ and Rust is essential.

TradFi/HFT background

Candidates must have substantial experience in a traditional finance or high-frequency trading firm.

Systems programming

A strong understanding of systems programming, concurrency, networking, and performance optimisation is required.

Low-latency systems

Experience building low-latency or high-throughput systems is necessary.

Data structures and algorithms

Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, memory management, and computer architecture is important.

Linux experience

Strong experience working with Linux is required.
