Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Systems Engineer with 8–10 years of hands-on experience in building high-performance, scalable systems. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in C++ and Rust, along with experience working with modern data infrastructure technologies such as LanceDB, Apache Iceberg, and Velox.

Required Qualifications

8–10 years of software engineering experience with strong systems programming background.
Expert-level proficiency in C++ and/or Rust.
Experience with distributed systems, storage engines, query processing, or database internals.
Hands-on experience with LanceDB, Apache Iceberg, and Velox.
Strong understanding of operating systems, memory management, concurrency, and performance optimization.
Experience working in cloud-native environments.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Requirements

C++ and Rust expertise

Expert-level proficiency in C++ and/or Rust is required.

Distributed systems experience

Experience with distributed systems, storage engines, query processing, or database internals is essential.

Data infrastructure knowledge

Hands-on experience with LanceDB, Apache Iceberg, and Velox is necessary.

Operating systems understanding

A strong understanding of operating systems, memory management, concurrency, and performance optimization is required.

Nice to Have

Cloud-native experience

Experience working in cloud-native environments is a plus.

Problem-solving skills

Excellent problem-solving and communication skills are beneficial.
