About the Role

A rare opportunity for a strong Rust Developer to join the Crypto Trading desk of one of the world's largest and most established proprietary trading firms in Hong Kong.

This is an opportunity to apply Rust within a genuinely performance-sensitive trading environment, joining a firm where engineering, quantitative research and trading sit side-by-side and technology has a direct impact on the business.

What You'll Do

• Build software in Rust within a highly technical, performance-focused environment.
• Solve complex engineering problems where latency, reliability and efficiency matter.
• Work closely with traders, quantitative researchers and other engineers.
• Have meaningful ownership rather than operating within a heavily siloed development team.
• Apply technology to fast-moving electronic and digital asset markets.
• Work alongside technically strong peers who actively challenge and learn from one another.

Who You Are

We are particularly interested in speaking with engineers who have strong commercial Rust development experience and a background building sophisticated, performance-sensitive or distributed systems. Previous experience within crypto, electronic trading, quantitative finance or financial markets would naturally be relevant, but we are also interested in exceptional Rust engineers from outside finance whose technical background could translate well into a trading environment.
