About the Role

The Software Developer (Rust) role involves solving complex engineering problems and building high-performance systems within a leading FinTech firm. You will work on developing low-level systems and optimizing infrastructure for processing vast amounts of data efficiently.

What You'll Be Working On

Building and optimising infrastructure capable of processing billions of data points every second.
Developing low-level systems in performance-critical, latency-sensitive environments.
Contributing to the design and development of a proprietary high-performance database built from the ground up.
Working on research-driven projects involving functional programming concepts and modern systems technologies.
Improving the infrastructure that supports machine learning workflows and helps bring research into production.

Who We're Looking For

Strong commercial experience developing software in Rust.
A degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or another relevant technical discipline.
Experience building software where performance, efficiency, and reliability are key priorities.

Compensation

Up to £200k + Exceptional Bonus
