The Software Developer (Rust) role involves solving complex engineering problems and building high-performance systems within a leading FinTech firm. You will work on developing low-level systems and optimizing infrastructure for processing vast amounts of data efficiently.
What You'll Be Working On
- Building and optimising infrastructure capable of processing billions of data points every second.
- Developing low-level systems in performance-critical, latency-sensitive environments.
- Contributing to the design and development of a proprietary high-performance database built from the ground up.
- Working on research-driven projects involving functional programming concepts and modern systems technologies.
- Improving the infrastructure that supports machine learning workflows and helps bring research into production.
Who We're Looking For
- Strong commercial experience developing software in Rust.
- A degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or another relevant technical discipline.
- Experience building software where performance, efficiency, and reliability are key priorities.
Compensation
Up to £200k + Exceptional Bonus
