About the Role
The Rust Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing ultra-low-latency trading systems, optimizing performance across various metrics. This role involves close collaboration with traders and quantitative researchers to implement strategies in a high-performance trading environment.
What You'll Do
- Design and develop ultra-low-latency trading systems in Rust.
- Build high-performance market data, order management and execution infrastructure.
- Optimize systems for latency, throughput and reliability.
- Work closely with traders and quantitative researchers to bring strategies into production.
- Profile and improve performance across networking, concurrency, memory and CPU utilization.
- Contribute to the architecture of highly scalable, fault-tolerant trading systems.
Who You Are
- Strong commercial experience with Rust and systems-level programming.
- Experience building high-performance, latency-sensitive applications.
- Strong knowledge of networking, concurrency, memory management and Linux.
- Understanding of CPU architecture and performance optimization.
- Experience within HFT, market making, proprietary trading or electronic trading preferred.
- C++ experience alongside Rust is beneficial.
- Strong problem-solving skills with an emphasis on clean, efficient and reliable code.
Requirements
