Back End Developer (Rust / SHACL)

About the Role

The Back End Developer role at Findmore Consulting involves developing Rust-based validation components for large volumes of RDF data and implementing RDFS and SHACL validations to ensure data integrity. The position requires optimizing solutions for high-volume data processing and integrating validation components through various protocols.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities

• Develop Rust-based validation components for large volumes of RDF data
• Implement RDFS and SHACL validations to ensure structural correctness and semantic integrity of data
• Work with CIM/XML and applicable IEC standards
• Optimize solutions for high-volume data processing and high performance
• Integrate validation components through gRPC/REST, CGo and/or FFI/C ABI
• Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of backend validation solutions

Requirements

• Proven professional experience with Rust
• Strong experience with FFI / C ABI
• Proven experience with SHACL, RDF and Semantic Web technologies
• Knowledge of the open-source rudof library
• Experience working with CIM/XML
• Understanding of RDFS and semantic data validation
• Experience developing high-performance backend components
• Ability to work with large volumes of data

Nice to Have

• Experience with gRPC and REST APIs
• Experience with CGo
• Knowledge of applicable IEC standards
• Experience with large-scale data processing
• Experience working with complex data validation or Semantic Web solutions
• Experience in distributed or international development teams
