About the Role
About the Role
You'll join a team of programmers based in central Stockholm responsible for developing real-time bot detection software, data processing pipelines, and customer-facing tools. The team works according to modern development practices, with Rust as the main language, alongside frontends and browser/mobile SDKs for Android and iOS. They operate a global infrastructure, deploy daily, and work closely with data scientists and cybersecurity threat researchers to stay ahead of emerging threats.
About You
We're looking for someone who wants to help strengthen defenses against bad bots. You'll have an analytical and creative mindset, with the ability to approach problems from new angles. You're likely someone who enjoys exploring new technologies and using them to your advantage, rather than being narrowly specialized in a few areas.
Please note: while strong interest or experience in Rust is expected, we're also happy to hear from candidates looking to cross-train into Rust from other programming languages, provided you bring strong fundamentals in distributed systems and a genuine enthusiasm for picking it up.
What You'll Bring
- Experience developing and delivering distributed systems
- Experience and understanding of mobile devices and SDKs
- Strong interest or experience in Rust (or a strong background in another language with a desire to transition into Rust)
- Experience in a cloud environment, preferably AWS
Nice to Have
- Experience with web browser technologies
- Experience with Terraform or similar infrastructure-as-code tools
- Experience with cybersecurity
