Senior Software Engineer - Full stack

Pune Division, Maharashtra, India on site

About the Role

Hello Visionary!

We empower our people to stay resilient and relevant in a constantly changing world. We’re looking for people who are always searching for creative ways to grow and learn. People who want to make a real impact, now and in the future. Does that sound like you? Then it seems like you’d make a great addition to our vibrant international team.

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer - Full stack

You’ll Make a Difference By

We are looking for an experienced and analytically sharp Senior Full-Stack Engineer to join our team, working at the intersection of high-fidelity simulation, modern web technologies, and reliable software delivery. This is a technically demanding role suited for someone who takes pride in end-to-end ownership, thinks rigorously about correctness, and understands that in our domain, simulation results are not advisory, they are binding.

Our mission is to deliver robust, web-based simulation software to both internal teams and external customers, enabling complex decision-making grounded in accurate, trustworthy computational results. Errors are not just inconvenient; they carry real commercial consequences. This demands an engineering culture where precision and reliability are treated as first-class requirements, not afterthoughts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain a full-stack web-based simulation application from backend computation to user-facing interfaces
  • Take end-to-end ownership of features, from architecture and implementation through to deployment and monitoring in cloud environments
  • Ensure the accuracy, reliability, and consistency of simulation outputs, applying rigorous testing and validation practices commensurate with the commercial stakes involved
  • Collaborate across disciplines, working closely with domain experts, simulation specialists, and product stakeholders to translate complex requirements into robust software solutions
  • Champion engineering best practices across the codebase, including code quality, observability, and deployment hygiene

Required Skills

  • Strong proficiency in Rust and Python for backend and simulation logic
  • Experience with physics simulation, numerical methods, or scientific computing
  • Solid experience with Angular for building responsive, production-grade web frontends
  • Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized, scalable deployments
  • Practical knowledge of AWS cloud services as well as on-prem deployments, and cloud-native architecture patterns
  • Experience designing and implementing audit logging, including immutable audit trails
  • Solid understanding of relational databases
  • A genuine end-to-end mindset, comfortable owning a feature across the full stack and across the full delivery lifecycle
  • Strong analytical thinking and a structured approach to problem-solving, with a natural instinct for questioning assumptions and validating outputs
  • A strong team player with excellent collaboration skills, able to work effectively across interdisciplinary and intercultural teams

Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with simulation validation frameworks or uncertainty quantification
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tooling (e.g., Terraform, Helm)
