About the Role

As a Senior Backend Developer and Team Lead at Fudo Security, you will be responsible for both engineering tasks and leading a small development team. This role involves designing and developing new features, ensuring code quality, and mentoring team members while actively engaging in coding with Rust and C.

What You'll Do

Design and develop the architecture of new functionalities (RFC, technical decisions).
Lead and support a team of 3-5 people (developers + QA) — share knowledge, mentor, and ensure skill development.
Analyze and estimate new projects, break them down into tasks, and monitor deadlines.
Ensure code quality and application security through good design, code reviews, and pair programming.
Tackle technical challenges in development, testing, and production environments.
Maintain and develop existing solutions, ensuring their consistency and security.

Who You Are

Proficient in C and/or Rust.
Knowledge of databases and SQL.
Understanding of basic cryptography and security.
Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems and ability to work with the terminal and write scripts.
Experience in a team lead role or similar collaborative positions (e.g., Tech Lead).
Ability to manage tasks independently while providing support and/or oversight for less experienced colleagues.
Effective planning of your own work and that of other developers, with proper prioritization.

Bonus Points

Experience with effectively utilizing AI tools in daily work.
Knowledge of network protocol construction (TLS, HTTP(s)).
Familiarity with CI/CD.

C and Rust proficiency

You must be proficient in C and/or Rust.
