About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Rust & Solana Software Engineer to own, scale, and maintain our high-throughput blockchain infrastructure and data delivery systems. In this role, you’ll be building and maintaining the foundational backend engines, indexing pipelines, and real-time streaming interfaces that power latency-critical Solana applications. You will have full ownership over core feature development, system reliability, and performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities
- Core Feature Development: Design, build, and deploy new high-performance features for data streaming, transaction indexing, and node interaction services.
- System Maintenance & Reliability: Maintain existing Rust services, optimize memory usage, lower latency, and ensure maximum uptime for RPC and data feed infrastructure.
- Low-Latency Streaming: Develop and refine custom gRPC/WebSocket streaming pipelines and plugin integrations (e.g., Geyser-based plugins) for real-time state tracking.
- Architecture & Profiling: Identify system bottlenecks, optimize async runtimes (tokio), and streamline low-level networking and serialization routines.
- DevOps Alignment: Collaborate on infrastructure automation, node synchronization workflows, and production telemetry monitoring.
Requirements
- 0.5-2 years of strong experience with Rust or other systems programming language (Java / C++).
- Solana Knowledge: Understanding of how Solana blockchain works.
- High-Throughput Systems: Hands-on experience with high-concurrency network programming, gRPC/Protobuf, WebSockets, and low-latency API design.
- Database & Data Pipelines: Familiarity with high-ingestion storage engines and caches (e.g., ClickHouse, Redis, Kafka/Redpanda).
- Linux & Infrastructure: Comfortable working in Linux environments, containerized workflows (Docker), and bare-metal/cloud deployments.
Nice to Haves
- Direct experience writing or maintaining Solana Geyser plugins or Yellowstone gRPC services.
- Background in low-latency trading, MEV, or DeFi liquidity tracking systems.
- Experience running bare-metal server nodes, configuring high-speed network interfaces, or tuning Linux kernel parameters for network I/O.
