About the Role
The Senior Rust Engineer will be responsible for building core components of a trading platform in Rust, focusing on exchange connectivity and algorithmic trading infrastructure. This role requires strong engineering skills and offers the opportunity to work in a high-performance environment with minimal bureaucracy.
Responsibilities
- Build core trading-platform components in Rust
- Work on exchange connectivity, data pipelines and algorithmic trading infrastructure
- Improve latency, throughput, reliability and determinism
- Build observability into production systems through metrics, tracing and alerting
- Investigate production issues and drive fixes through to resolution
- Contribute to architecture, feature design and technical decision-making
- Build and maintain automated, integration and performance testing
Skills & Experience
- 5+ years building performance-sensitive or highly reliable systems
- Strong commercial Rust experience
- Concurrency and parallel programming
- Distributed systems
- Strong understanding of software architecture and performance optimisation
- Comfortable owning systems through to production
- Fluent in Russian

Requirements
Rust experience
Strong commercial experience with Rust is essential.
Performance-sensitive systems
5+ years of experience building performance-sensitive or highly reliable systems.
Concurrency programming
Experience with concurrency and parallel programming is required.
Distributed systems
Knowledge of distributed systems is necessary.
Software architecture
A strong understanding of software architecture and performance optimisation is needed.
Nice to Have
Experience in quantitative trading is a plus but not required.
Fluency in Russian is required for this role.
