About This Role
As a Back-End Infrastructure Engineer at Pigment, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the SaaS platform, focusing on both backend and frontend tasks. You will work closely with the engineering team to ensure the platform is user-friendly and meets the needs of customers while utilizing a variety of technologies.
Who You Are
More than knowledge of a specific language or framework, we are looking for great software engineering skills: ability to translate functional requirements into an elegant and simple design, and then deliver the code.
We are also looking for engineers who understand the product and the customer's needs in detail and can suggest innovative ideas: in the end, it's all about delivering value to end users.
In any case, you have:
- Experiences as a software engineer working on a product in production.
- Demonstrated experience in infrastructure (Kubernetes, IaC tooling, public cloud) and a drive to help teams work effectively and autonomously.
- Proven experience designing object oriented software with languages such as C#, Java, C++, Golang, Rust, Python or Ruby (this list is not exhaustive).
- Great team spirit with a problem-solving attitude.
- A good dose of humility and the willingness to grow (no matter your seniority!).

Requirements
Software engineering skills
Ability to translate functional requirements into elegant and simple designs.
Infrastructure experience
Demonstrated experience in Kubernetes, IaC tooling, and public cloud.
Object-oriented design
Proven experience designing software with languages such as C#, Java, C++, Golang, Rust, Python, or Ruby.
Team spirit
Great team spirit with a problem-solving attitude.
Nice to Have
Familiarity with AI tools used in the hiring process.
