Full Stack Developer Rust/Python Software Defined Radio Platform (m/w/d)

Our teams work on technologies for satellite communication, secure radio communication, and Software Defined Radio, creating solutions that are used in security-critical applications worldwide.

What You'll Do

As part of an agile development team, you will:

• Develop modern, robust, and scalable software in Rust and Python for our Software Defined Radio (SDR) platform.
• Implement new functionalities and software components, enhance our existing software platform, and perform architectural changes as well as data flow and performance optimizations.
• Ensure code quality, maintainability, and stability through code reviews, Test Driven Development, refactoring, and thorough documentation.
• Implement, operate, and scale applications in Linux-based environments using containerization and modern microservice architectures, particularly with Docker.
• Enhance our build, test, and deployment processes and contribute to the continuous improvement of our CI/CD landscape.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, System Engineers, and other development teams to understand requirements and translate them into high-performance software solutions.

Who You Are

You have:

• A degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification and a desire to create software with real impact.
• Familiarity with software development in Python and C/C++ or Rust, promoting practices like coding styles, clean architecture, and design patterns.
• Experience in Linux-based development environments and proficiency with shell, command line, and common development tools.
• Experience with Docker, microservices, and CI/CD, finding targeted solutions using modern software development libraries and tools.
• A commitment to clean code and maintainable, testable, high-quality software, with a passion for continuously improving development processes.
• A solution-oriented, team-oriented, responsible, and agile mindset.
• Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken.
