About the Role
The Software Engineer role involves developing safety-critical systems using Rust in a structured and technical environment. You will contribute to the entire software lifecycle, ensuring high-quality software that meets rigorous standards.
What You'll Do
You will be involved throughout the software lifecycle, contributing to requirements, development, integration, and verification activities alongside other software, systems, and test engineers.
Who You Are
Commercial experience developing software using Rust is essential, along with around 5 years of software engineering experience. Experience in safety-critical or highly regulated environments is preferred.
Bonus Points
Knowledge of standards such as IEC 61508, EN 50128, ISO 26262, DEF STAN 00-55, or DO-178 is a plus. A methodical approach to problem-solving and software quality is also valued.
Compensation
Salary is between £60,000 and £65,000.
