About the Role

The Rust Engineer will be responsible for building the backend infrastructure for a high-performance trading platform, focusing on real-time data handling and complex system coordination. This role requires strong production experience in Rust and a passion for trading and financial markets.

What You'll Do

Work on risk & liquidation engines.
Develop blockchain state machines for trading & settlement.
Implement distributed coordination and consensus systems.
Build live market data and WebSocket infrastructure.
Create high-performance REST/WebSocket APIs.

Who You Are

2–4 years of backend engineering experience.
Strong production Rust experience (C++ also relevant).
Strong async programming skills; Tokio experience is a plus.
Experience building real-time, high-throughput systems.
Genuine interest in trading and financial markets.
Experience with various database systems including relational, time-series, and key-value.
Background in startup, fintech, crypto, HFT, or low-latency infrastructure.

Bonus Points

Experience with Docker and distributed systems.
