What You'll Do
- Design, build, and test SFG in C++ or Rust (Windows/Linux) as the transparent proxy between WAF and backend.
- Implement the core flow: intercept uploads → forward to MetaDefender Core over ICAP → return sanitized files, with low latency and high reliability.
- Build multi-threaded, high-concurrency networking components.
- Build and use agentic workflows (e.g., Claude Code, autonomous coding agents) daily for coding, testing, and debugging.
- Work within a Scrum team; collaborate with Product Management; do peer code reviews.
What We Need
- Strong OOP background (Java/C#), willing to learn/work in C++ or Rust.
- Solid multi-threading and network programming skills.
- Comfort with protocol/network-level concepts (TCP/IP, HTTP, proxying).
- Genuine interest in using AI tools in your dev workflow.
- Experience building or using multi-agents.
- Good coding/debugging skills, strong communication, self-motivated.
Nice to Have
- ICAP protocol, reverse proxy / gateway experience.
- REST API design.
- Agile/Scrum, Git/Bitbucket/Jira/Confluence/TeamCity.
- DBMS (SQLite, PostgreSQL, etc.).
- Windows/Linux dev experience.

Requirements
OOP background
Strong OOP background in Java or C#, with a willingness to learn C++ or Rust.
Multi-threading skills
Solid skills in multi-threading and network programming.
Network concepts
Comfort with protocol and network-level concepts such as TCP/IP and HTTP.
AI tools interest
Genuine interest in using AI tools in your development workflow.
Coding skills
Good coding and debugging skills with strong communication abilities.
Nice to Have
Experience with ICAP protocol and reverse proxy or gateway.
Familiarity with REST API design.
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Git and Jira.
Knowledge of database management systems such as SQLite or PostgreSQL.
Development experience in Windows or Linux environments.
