AWS RUST Developer

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Rust Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance applications and backend services. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Rust programming, system design, microservices architecture, and modern software development practices. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build reliable, secure, and efficient solutions that support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using Rust.
• Build scalable and high-performance backend services and APIs.
• Design and implement microservices and distributed system architectures.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Optimize application performance, resource utilization, and system reliability.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical decision-making.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues.
• Contribute to CI/CD processes and software delivery automation.
• Ensure adherence to security, scalability, and operational excellence standards.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Rust programming language.
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture.
• Experience with asynchronous programming, concurrency, and performance optimization.
• Proficiency with version control systems such as Git.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing practices.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Technical Skills

• Experience with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL).
• Knowledge of message queues and event-driven architectures.
• Experience working with Linux-based environments.
• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and observability tools.
• Knowledge of software security best practices.

Good to Have

• Experience with AWS Cloud Services (EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, API Gateway, CloudWatch, etc.).
• Exposure to Kubernetes and container orchestration platforms.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Knowledge of cloud-native application development.
• AWS Certifications.
