We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Rust Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance applications and backend services. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Rust programming, system design, microservices architecture, and modern software development practices. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build reliable, secure, and efficient solutions that support business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using Rust.
- Build scalable and high-performance backend services and APIs.
- Design and implement microservices and distributed system architectures.
- Collaborate with product managers, architects, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Optimize application performance, resource utilization, and system reliability.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following industry best practices.
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and technical decision-making.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues.
- Contribute to CI/CD processes and software delivery automation.
- Ensure adherence to security, scalability, and operational excellence standards.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of professional software development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Rust programming language.
- Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
- Experience developing RESTful APIs and backend services.
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture.
- Experience with asynchronous programming, concurrency, and performance optimization.
- Proficiency with version control systems such as Git.
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing practices.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Preferred Technical Skills
- Experience with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL).
- Knowledge of message queues and event-driven architectures.
- Experience working with Linux-based environments.
- Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and observability tools.
- Knowledge of software security best practices.
Good to Have
- Experience with AWS Cloud Services (EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, API Gateway, CloudWatch, etc.).
- Exposure to Kubernetes and container orchestration platforms.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Knowledge of cloud-native application development.
- AWS Certifications.
