Rust Developer

About the Role

The Rust Developer role involves building high-performance systems for a leading global hedge fund, focusing on enhancing trade management systems. This hands-on engineering position emphasizes performance, scalability, and modern distributed systems.

What You'll Do

• Design and build high-performance, multi-threaded trading systems using Rust.
• Develop and support distributed microservices across mission-critical trading platforms.
• Optimise latency, memory usage, and AWS infrastructure to improve performance and reduce costs.

Technologies

Rust and C#/.NET services within a modern cloud-based architecture.

Who You Are

• 5+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong experience with Rust, Java or C#/.NET and concurrent programming.
• Experience building distributed systems using REST/gRPC, microservices, Kafka, RabbitMQ or similar messaging technologies.
• Knowledge of AWS, CI/CD, Git, Jenkins, and modern DevOps practices.
• Must have previous exposure in financial markets or trading systems.
