About the Role

As a Senior Rust Engineer, you will develop and optimize reliable backend services and system components using Rust. You will ensure that critical applications are stable, secure, and performant while collaborating closely with product, development, and expert teams to create sustainable technical solutions.

Your Mission

• Develop and optimize reliable backend services and system components with Rust.
• Ensure critical applications are stable, secure, and performant.
• Analyze and solve technical challenges related to Linux, networks, processes, and infrastructure.
• Accompany software from development to production and ensure its long-term stability.
• Work closely with product, development, and expert teams to create sustainable technical solutions.
• Contribute to the safe and reliable deployment of modern AI applications in the clinical environment.

Your Superpowers

Must-have

• Experience in professional software development with Rust.
• Very good Linux knowledge and understanding of operating systems, processes, and networks.
• Experience in operating and further developing productive systems.
• Fluent German skills in spoken and written form.

Nice-to-have

• Kubernetes knowledge.
• Experience with TypeScript.
• Interest in modern AI-native development methods.
