About the Role
As an AI Platform Engineer at Tailor, you will develop the Tailor Platform, focusing on the platform layer and individual application layers to enhance the developer experience in the era of AI. Your role will involve designing and implementing AI-specific execution models and abstraction layers to connect LLMs with external tools.
What You'll Do
Develop the platform layer of the Tailor Platform and individual application layers, aiming to reduce the development time of enterprise systems significantly. You will build the execution infrastructure for AI Agents and redefine system design for the LLM era.
Specific Responsibilities
- Design AI-specific execution models on the Core Platform.
- Implement abstraction layers for connecting LLMs with external tools.
- Design execution, state management, and orchestration for Agents.
- Provide a foundation for rapid development by the AI product team.
Who You Are
You have experience in designing and developing AI Agents and tools that are called by LLMs. Proficiency in TypeScript and experience with low-level implementations using Go or Rust are preferred.
Bonus Points
- Experience in runtime, SDK, or framework development.
- Experience in designing orchestration for Agents.
- Experience in distributed system design.
- Contributions to open-source software.
Compensation
Salary ranges from 10,000,000 JPY, with evaluations conducted biannually to determine potential raises.

AI Agent Development
Experience in designing and developing AI Agents.
