Rust Developer

Job Description

As a Rust Developer at Ampstek, you will design and implement backend APIs using Rust while developing and maintaining asynchronous systems. You will also ensure a strong understanding of Rust fundamentals and participate in code reviews to uphold high-quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement backend APIs using Rust.
• Develop and maintain asynchronous systems leveraging frameworks such as Tokio, Axum, and SQLX.
• Ensure strong understanding and application of Rust fundamentals, including ownership, borrowing, lifetimes, and type safety.
• Work with relational databases (SQL) for data persistence.
• Optimize systems for performance, reliability, and low latency.
• Participate actively in code reviews to maintain high-quality standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience with async Rust frameworks (Tokio, Axum, SQLX).
• Familiarity with AWS and Docker for deployment and containerization.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and containerization best practices.
• Knowledge of async ecosystems such as Tokio or async-std.
• Understanding of advertising technology concepts, such as ad serving, bidding, campaign management, and analytics is a plus.
