About the Role

Design, build, and ship production Rust services end-to-end.

Own features in our cloud GraphQL API, including schema, resolvers, and queries.

Build and evolve async, concurrent systems with Tokio for reliable performance.

Work across gRPC / Protobuf service boundaries, ensuring backwards compatibility.

Contribute to foundational crates, focusing on narrow and well-tested changes.

Extend the peer-to-peer architecture for direct media transfers.

Strong production Rust experience, including ownership, borrowing, lifetimes, and traits.
Solid async Rust knowledge (Tokio or equivalent), reasoning about concurrency.
Experience designing and operating backend services and their APIs (HTTP / GraphQL / gRPC).
Production experience with relational databases and SQL (PostgreSQL preferred).
A solid grasp of auth fundamentals (OAuth2 / JWT, RBAC).
Comfortable with command-line, cloud-native workflows (Docker, CI/CD, cloud infrastructure).
