About the Role
The Rust Engineer will focus on building and optimizing high-performance, low-latency trading systems. This role involves collaborating with traders and researchers to implement strategies and improve system performance.
What You'll Do
- Build and optimise low-latency trading systems in Rust
- Develop market data, execution and exchange connectivity
- Build trading, risk and order management infrastructure
- Work with traders and researchers to take strategies from research to production
- Improve latency, throughput and system reliability
- Develop simulation and backtesting tooling
Requirements
- Strong commercial Rust experience
- Experience with low-latency / high-performance systems
- Strong knowledge of networking, concurrency and performance optimisation
- Experience with HFT, market making or electronic trading
- Understanding of market microstructure and exchange connectivity
- C++ and/or Python experience beneficial
Nice to Have
- Digital Assets, Crypto, DeFi or prediction markets experience is a plus
Requirements
Commercial Rust Experience
Strong commercial Rust experience is essential.
Low-Latency Systems
Experience with low-latency / high-performance systems is required.
Networking Knowledge
Strong knowledge of networking, concurrency and performance optimisation is necessary.
HFT Experience
Experience with HFT, market making or electronic trading is important.
Market Microstructure Understanding
Understanding of market microstructure and exchange connectivity is needed.
Nice to Have
Experience with C++ and/or Python is beneficial.
Experience in Digital Assets, Crypto, DeFi or prediction markets is a plus.
