About the Role

As a Senior Embedded Software Engineer at Synmatch AI, you will engineer precision signal processing for measurement systems, focusing on FPGA and DSP platforms. This role involves designing and implementing signal processing chains while collaborating with hardware and product teams to deliver reliable embedded solutions.

What You'll Do

• Requirements Engineering: Derive technical requirements from IEC device and measurement standards for signal processing implementation.
• Signal Chain Design: Architect and design signal processing chains for FPGA and DSP platforms.
• Programming: Implement signal chain logic in FPGA/DSP environments with focus on precision and performance.
• Testing: Design and execute unit tests to verify signal processing accuracy and system reliability.
• Documentation: Produce clear technical documentation covering design decisions, test results, and system specifications.

Who You Are

• Embedded Systems Experience: Proven experience with embedded systems and hardware with limited resources.
• Signal Processing: Strong background in digital signal processing theory and practical implementation.
• Requirements Engineering: Experience with requirements derivation, UML, and structured system design.
• Programming Skills: Proficiency in C/C++, Rust, or similar languages for embedded development.
• FPGA Expertise: Hands-on experience with FPGA architecture, VHDL/Verilog, synthesis, and testing workflows.
• Tooling & Workflows: Experience with automated workflows, GitLab, Jira, and CI/CD practices.
• Documentation Skills: Ability to produce clear, structured technical documentation.
• Language: Fluency in English.
