About the Role

As a Senior Rust Consultant/Engineer at CmdScale, you will engage directly in projects, providing high-level consulting and actively developing code. You will work closely with clients, balancing innovative technologies with economic sustainability while enjoying a supportive team environment.

What You'll Do

Direct involvement in projects: You will start in exciting projects after a quick onboarding phase, with full autonomy. You will meet clients on equal footing and realize your ideas and solutions.

Responsibility & Freedom: You will take on advisory roles and actively develop code from the first client contact to the finished project, helping clients find the perfect balance between forward-looking techniques and economic sustainability.

Who You Are

Rust Expertise: You have at least 5 years of proven experience in professional Rust development, mastering memory management and concurrency at an expert level.

Consulting Mindset: You are accustomed to advising clients at a professional level and can structure complex issues and represent them confidently in groups.

Proven Results: You are ready to show Rust code or project references as proof of your capabilities.

Communication Skills: You can express yourself confidently in both German and English in professional discussions.

Commitment: This key position is exclusively full-time.

Bonus Points

Experience with Go and other technologies is a plus.

Compensation

We offer a permanent full-time position with the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere in Germany or in our Munich office. The salary range is between 70000 and 85000 euros, with the potential for higher earnings based on performance.
