About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Rust Developer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have experience in building high-performance, reliable, and scalable systems using Rust, with a strong focus on memory safety and concurrency.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance applications using Rust
- Build efficient, safe, and scalable systems with a focus on performance and reliability
- Work on system-level programming, backend services, or distributed systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, QA, and DevOps
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
- Perform code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions
- Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize system performance
- Ensure quality through testing, benchmarking, and best engineering practices
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5–6 years of software development experience (with hands-on Rust experience)
- Strong proficiency in Rust programming language
- Solid understanding of memory management, ownership model, and concurrency
- Experience with multithreading and asynchronous programming (Tokio/Async Rust)
- Strong knowledge of Data Structures & Algorithms
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems
- Experience with version control systems like Git
Good to Have
- Experience with distributed systems, networking, or system design
- Exposure to WebAssembly (WASM) or low-level programming
- Knowledge of other languages like C++, Go, or Python
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines
Requirements
Rust programming
Strong proficiency in Rust programming language is essential.
Memory management
Solid understanding of memory management, ownership model, and concurrency is required.
Multithreading
Experience with multithreading and asynchronous programming (Tokio/Async Rust) is necessary.
Data Structures
Strong knowledge of Data Structures & Algorithms is important.
Linux/Unix
Familiarity with Linux/Unix systems is required.
Nice to Have
Experience with distributed systems, networking, or system design is a plus.
Exposure to WebAssembly (WASM) or low-level programming is beneficial.
Knowledge of other languages like C++, Go, or Python is advantageous.
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is helpful.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines is a nice addition.
