The Rust Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing production-grade distributed systems and internal frameworks that support trading and research operations. This role requires collaboration with various stakeholders and involves driving projects through the full software lifecycle.

- Designing and developing production-grade distributed systems
- Building internal frameworks and platforms used across the business
- Developing and operating Kubernetes-based microservices
- Collaborating closely with investment and engineering stakeholders
- Supporting highly available, low-latency production environments
- Driving projects through the full software lifecycle

What We’re Looking For
- 6+ years of software engineering experience
- Strong commercial C++ experience (required)
- Interest in or experience with Rust
- Experience with containerised microservices and Kubernetes
- Strong understanding of distributed systems and production infrastructure
- Experience designing and supporting CI/CD pipelines
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Requirements
Software Engineering Experience
6+ years of software engineering experience is required.
C++ Experience
Strong commercial C++ experience is required.
Rust Interest
Interest in or experience with Rust is preferred.
Kubernetes Knowledge
Experience with containerised microservices and Kubernetes is necessary.
Distributed Systems Understanding
Strong understanding of distributed systems and production infrastructure is essential.
Nice to Have
Experience designing and supporting CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills are beneficial.
