About The Role
As a Protocol Engineer at Crebit, you will build the off-chain protocol that powers FX hedges, including designing APIs and matching logic for liquidity. You will be part of a small team focused on creating financial systems for fintechs and neobanks, with your code going into production quickly.
What You'll Do
- Own the rate-lock state machine across quote / lock / settle / expire / refund.
- Build the liquidity matching layer that pairs hedge requests with our book.
- Ship Go or Rust services that hit p99 < 50ms on quote generation.
- Design the public REST + webhook API our fintech customers use.

Requirements
Production financial systems
Experience building production financial systems such as exchange, payments, or treasury infrastructure.
TLA+ knowledge
Familiarity with TLA+ or understanding when to use it.
Invariants thinking
Ability to think in invariants, ensuring critical values do not go negative.
Solana RPC or Geth/Reth
Experience working with Solana RPC or Geth/Reth internals.
Nice to Have
Experience with Go programming language.
Experience designing public REST and webhook APIs.
