About The Role
We are seeking Applied Research Scientists to join our team in developing state-of-the-art computer vision and generative models to enhance our creative tools. Ideal candidates will have a robust background in impactful and innovative machine learning projects, strong software engineering skills, and a passion for bringing research to life through novel user interfaces for creative applications.
This role requires excellent communication and collaboration skills as you will work closely with our backend team to deploy research models into production and with our design and frontend engineering team to ensure seamless integration of machine learning models with user interfaces.
Responsibilities
- Develop groundbreaking research projects in computer vision, focusing on generative models for image and video.
- Create new computer vision pipelines to automate visual effects tasks such as video segmentation, pinpointing, and tracking.
- Collaborate with a top-tier engineering team to push the boundaries of browser-based content creation.
- Work closely with the product team to bring advanced machine learning models to production.
Requirements
- Over 5 years of relevant experience in machine learning, computer vision, and/or graphics.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, and CUDA, and in deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch.
- Exceptional programming skills with an ability to write clean, maintainable research code.
- A strong interest in developing human-in-the-loop systems for creative applications.
- A passion for taking research from initial conception to practical application.
- Experience in mentoring and teaching other researchers.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.

Requirements
Machine Learning Experience
