The Senior Software Engineer, Infrastructure role involves designing and building backend services that enable institutions to connect with external networks while ensuring correctness and auditability. The position requires a strong focus on reliability and observability of the systems developed, as well as collaboration with compliance teams.
What You'll Do
- Design and build backend services for connectivity and settlement.
- Integrate with bank core, custody, and ledger systems and the external networks institutions choose.
- Build reconciliation and audit-trail tooling that holds up to examination.
- Own reliability and observability for the systems you ship.
- Work with compliance to keep controls in the transaction path, not bolted to the side.
Who You Are
- 5+ years in backend or distributed systems.
- A correctness-first mindset from a high-reliability domain (payments, settlement, trading, or similar).
- Fluency in a modern typed language (Go, Rust, or TypeScript).
- Strong API and systems-integration experience.
- Comfort with on-call and production observability.
Nice to Have
- Payments, settlement, or custody systems.
- Crypto infrastructure.
- ISO 20022 or Swift.
Requirements
Backend or Distributed Systems
5+ years in backend or distributed systems.
Correctness-First Mindset
Experience in a high-reliability domain such as payments or trading.
Fluency in Typed Language
Proficiency in Go, Rust, or TypeScript.
API and Systems Integration
Strong experience with API and systems integration.
Production Observability
Comfort with on-call responsibilities and production observability.
Nice to Have

Familiarity with crypto infrastructure.
Knowledge of ISO 20022 or Swift standards.
