About the Role

About Us

We are hiring an experienced Full-Stack Developer to join our team in Kuala Lumpur. You will work across our digital asset and payments platform, covering blockchain and wallet integrations as well as our internal order matching system. Our stack uses Node.js for blockchain and wallet related work, and Java or Rust for our internal matching engine, so your background across these areas will shape where you focus most. This is primarily a hands on building role, though prior experience guiding or mentoring other engineers is a welcome plus.

Responsibilities

Design, build and maintain scalable web applications and backend services
Build wallet features that connect to different blockchain networks
Build secure processes for sending and settling digital assets
Connect our systems to blockchain networks and outside APIs
Work with smart contracts and secure wallet types such as multi signature and MPC
Build and improve the systems that match and route orders between our own platform users
Build fast, reliable matching for both currency and crypto order flow among registered users, without connecting to outside banking systems
Build secure holding and verification steps for transactions
Design systems that stay reliable under high traffic, and improve database speed and scalability
Build APIs, real time services, and monitoring and alert systems
Work closely with Product Managers, Designers and QA, and take part in design discussions and code reviews

Technical Requirements

Frontend: React.js, Next.js, TypeScript, TailwindCSS
Backend: Node.js, NestJS or Express.js for blockchain and wallet work
Java (Spring Boot) or Rust for internal matching engine work
Database: PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis or MongoDB
Cloud and DevOps: Docker, Kubernetes, AWS or GCP, CI/CD
Experience with one or more blockchains such as Ethereum, BNB Chain, Solana, Tron, Polygon or Bitcoin

Preferred Experience

Experience building large scale financial or trading systems
Experience designing secure transaction processes
Knowledge of AML, KYC or fraud prevention tools
Familiarity with event driven and distributed systems
Experience handling very high daily traffic
Prior experience leading or mentoring a team is a plus, though not required

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
5 or more years of professional software development experience
Strong understanding of scalable system design
Strong debugging and problem solving skills
Able to work well both independently and with a team
Based in Kuala Lumpur, or currently in Singapore and open to relocating

Requirements

Full-Stack Development

5 or more years of professional software development experience is required.

Blockchain Integration

Experience with blockchain networks and wallet features is essential.

Scalable System Design

Strong understanding of designing systems that can handle high traffic.

Frontend Technologies

Proficiency in React.js, Next.js, TypeScript, and TailwindCSS is necessary.

Backend Technologies

Experience with Node.js and either Java or Rust for backend development is required.
