About the Role
As a Backend Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing a new Greenfield product aimed at combating AI-based security threats. You will primarily work with Python and Rust, engaging in both rapid prototyping and structured development while collaborating with a talented team.
What You'll Do
You'll work on a range of complex and interesting projects from rapid prototyping of new ideas to the structured development of existing platforms, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
Who You Are
You have strong Python, backend software engineering experience, advanced problem solving and critical thinking skills, and enjoy learning and picking up new technologies. You have experience with AWS, Azure or GCP, and some experience with Rust, Typescript and/or C++. You also have a strong knowledge of software engineering best practices and are degree educated in a STEM discipline.

Requirements
Python expertise
You have strong backend software engineering experience with Python.
Problem solving skills
You possess advanced problem solving and critical thinking skills.
Cloud experience
You have experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Software engineering best practices
You have a strong knowledge of software engineering best practices.
Nice to Have
You have some experience with Rust.
Familiarity with Typescript is a plus.
Some experience with C++ is beneficial.
