What You’ll Build
The runtime that executes and manages agent tasks
- Tool calling, session state, retries, and failure recovery
- Secure environments for agents to run code and access data
- Monitoring and debugging systems for agent behavior
- Infrastructure that supports many agents running at the same time
What We’re Looking For
- Strong backend or distributed-systems experience
- Experience with containers, cloud infrastructure, or job scheduling
- Strong coding skills in Go, Rust, Java, C++, or Python
- Familiarity with AI agents, LLM APIs, and tool calling
- Ability to build reliable, secure production systems
Ideal Background
You may have worked on cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, workflow engines, developer tools, code sandboxes, or distributed compute systems. This role is best suited for a systems engineer who understands AI agents—not a pure ML researcher or prompt engineer.
Requirements
Backend or Distributed Systems
Strong experience in backend or distributed systems is essential.
Container and Cloud Infrastructure
Experience with containers and cloud infrastructure is required.
Programming Skills
Proficiency in Go, Rust, Java, C++, or Python is necessary.
AI Agents Familiarity
Familiarity with AI agents and LLM APIs is important.
Production Systems
Ability to build reliable and secure production systems is crucial.
Nice to Have
Experience with Kubernetes is a plus.
Familiarity with workflow engines would be beneficial.
