What You’ll Own

• Build our full-stack platform, including Rust backend services, Python where it adds value, and a TypeScript frontend that operators can rely on.
• Own features end to end—from high-performance APIs and MongoDB/Redis data layers to real-time intelligence streamed directly into the user interface.
• Transform live feeds from cameras, drones, and other visual sensors into clear, actionable interfaces.
• Build systems designed for reliability, security, and mission-critical uptime.
• Ship quickly without compromising operator trust.
• Help establish the engineering foundations, standards, and culture as one of the company’s early engineers.

What We’re Looking For

• 4+ years of production full-stack engineering experience, typically at the SDE-2 level or equivalent.
• Deep production experience with at least one systems programming language, such as Rust, C++, or Go.
• Strong modern TypeScript and frontend engineering skills.
• Experience with React or Next.js is valuable, but craftsmanship matters more than the specific framework.
• A strong ownership mindset—you build the feature, write the Dockerfile, create the image, and help deploy it.
• Experience building clean, reliable, and maintainable systems for users who operate under pressure.
• Comfort working across cloud, edge, and containerised environments.

Signals That Set You Apart

• Experience deploying software in on-premise or air-gapped environments.
• Experience with React Native, WebRTC, video interfaces, or mapping technologies such as MapLibre.
• Exposure to artificial intelligence, computer vision, or real-time video products.
• Experience building systems for defence, security, public safety, critical infrastructure, or other high-reliability environments.
