About the Role
The Staff/Principal Platform Engineer (Rust) will be responsible for enhancing the data infrastructure of an AI platform, focusing on data management, ingestion, and integrations using Rust. This role offers the opportunity to work on production systems, make critical decisions about system architecture, and collaborate with teams on innovative agent infrastructure.
What You'll Do
- Work on data management, ingestion, and integrations, focusing on database schemas, data pipelines, microservices, and connectors built in Rust.
- Collaborate with teams building agentic memory and orchestration.
- Propose and build solutions autonomously within an engineering-led culture.
Who You Are
- Serious Rust experience, ideally with a few years at the systems level.
- Comfort with high performance and distributed systems, as well as feature/web work in Rust.
- Strong background in database and data management.
- Experience building microservices and integrations across multiple data sources.
- Confidence in evaluating existing systems and making architectural decisions.
- Startup experience with ownership of technical direction is a plus.
Eligibility
Must be a US citizen or green card holder and domiciled in the US, no visa sponsorship available.
Compensation
$200,000 - $300,000 base salary depending on experience, plus pre-IPO equity.
Requirements
Rust experience
Serious Rust experience, ideally with a few years at the systems level.

Comfort with high performance and distributed systems, as well as feature/web work in Rust.
Database management
Strong background in database and data management.
Microservices experience
Experience building microservices and integrations across multiple data sources.
Architectural judgment
Confidence in evaluating existing systems and making architectural decisions.
Nice to Have
Experience in a startup environment with ownership of technical direction.
